We will pick you up at your hotel / appartment at 6.00AM and drive (a big 400+ kms) to one of the most amazing National Parks of Brazil : Chapada Diamantina.
Underway we will have breakfast and later in the morning we will arrive for our first excursion ... UNDER GROUND, to explore the famous Gruta da Fumaça. This cave has some of the most beautiful forms in Brazil AND something special you will see nowhere else in the world.



After the cave you will probably be hungry so, let's have a quick lunch in one of those typical "Restaurante a Kilo" where you take what you want at a buffet and then simply pay by the weight of your food.

After lunch we go for the top of the day : ascending the famous mount Pai Inaçio to around 1.160m/3.675ft, where you will have the absolute most beautiful views of the Brazilian Grand Canyon.



After coming down we drive on to the last stop of the day.
We will halt at the Mucugezinho-river and walk down to the Devil's Pit (Poço do Diabo), where you can have a refeshing swim before we drive back to Salvador where we will return you to your hotel in Salvador around 11.00pm.



An special option for those amongst you who might think they would have some claustrophobic problems in the cave we can propose an alternative stop in the charming former mining village Lençois. This village was created during the colonial area when mining for gold and diamonds was an extremely important activity in the region.
